The track on the WindSUP 11'8" ...Hey Rod,

The track on the WindSUP 11'8" is actually pretty far forward. To keep the board from sticking when wavesailing I actually need to have the mast base as far back as it will go. Even for flatwater sailing with big sails, I keep the mast base well aft of the middle of the track. It must be really different on the 10' version.

It'll be interesting to see if the mast track position is ok on my angulo after the tail modification, or if I have to move it forward.

-JamesJames Douglasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15380226220764974087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124426997314960696.post-14270974887347327642013-12-30T10:34:11.347-08:002013-12-30T10:34:11.347-08:00Thanks James.

One of the things I have found on the 10' is the relatively rearward position of the mast tack. It would be good to get an idea of the track position on the 11'8 in comparison

Regards, Rodrod.rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16969612524556211840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124426997314960696.post-69059766903383951322013-12-26T20:45:40.738-08:002013-12-26T20:45:40.738-08:00Hi Rod,

You can pop the outer gasket out of the track with a flat head screwdriver, exposing the track beneath it. The track is screwed into the board with Phillips head screws. It comes off easily when you unscrew it.

-JamesJames Douglasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15380226220764974087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3124426997314960696.post-84316982894750988682013-12-26T11:26:54.822-08:002013-12-26T11:26:54.822-08:00Hi James.
